‘Getting Started’ is a simple, 5-week course which introduces the fundamentals of the Christian faith. If you’re new to Christianity, or maybe wondering what it’s all about, this is an easy way to ‘get started’ - to come along and hear for yourself, to question (if you want to), and maybe to sort out in your own mind your relationship with God.
The course will be easy to follow and delivered in a relaxed atmosphere, with no pressure on you to contribute, but with a time when questions can be asked and thoughts expressed. If you want to come with a friend, that’s fine too - you can talk together about the issues and share the challenges as you journey forward.
The five 1-hour sessions will cover the following topics:
- Where is God?
- Our need for God
- Jesus’ Life
- The Holy Spirit
Each of the 5 sessions typically runs from 8pm to 9pm, with tea and coffee available beforehand. There will be time for questions during the session and a further opportunity for informal discussion over tea or coffee afterwards.
If you would like to register for the next course, or if you would simply like some more information to be sent to you (with no obligation!), just put your name, address and/or telephone number in an email, or on a card, and send it to:
